Worried about any unforeseen circumstances happening to your house? Homeowner Takaful offers peace of mind to you and your family and is specially designed to provide comprehensive protection against loss or damage to your home caused by the unexpected.

Your home will be covered for the following perils under this scheme:

• Fire/lightning/thunderbolt/subterranean fire
• Explosion/aircraft damage/impact damage by third party road vehicles or animals
• Bursting or overflowing of domestic water tanks, apparatus or pipes
• Theft with violent or forcible entry or exit
• Hurricane/cyclone/typhoon/windstorm/earthquake/volcanic eruption/flood
• Riot/strike/malicious damage
• Loss of rent
• Public liability

What additional protection does the Homeowner Takaful offer me?

Subsidence and Land Slip (Compulsory for flat/condominium). Subject to additional contribution.

How much will the basic cover cost me?

As little as RM11.08 for every RM10,000 sum covered under the Homeowner Takaful.

How much coverage do you need?

Your coverage amount should reflect the full cost of rebuilding your house.

Who can apply for the Homeowner Takaful?

Homeowner Takaful is offered to Home Financing-i customers.

Who manages the Homeowner Takaful?

Homeowner Takaful is managed by HSBC Amanah Takaful (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HSBC Amanah Takaful”), a member of the HSBC Group of Companies.

In providing this service, HSBC Amanah will be remunerated by HSBC Amanah Takaful in the form of commission of up to 10.50%.
