While our helpful tellers and officers work normal banking hours, our 24-hour Self-Service Banking Lobbies are open around the clock and allow you to perform most banking transactions whenever you want.

This means that you can enjoy prompt, efficient HSBC service without having to hurry through everything during your lunch breaks or sacrificing your Saturday mornings.

Here's a list of the services offered at our 24-hour Self-Service Banking Lobbies:

Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

• Cash Withdrawal (up to RM5,000 per day)
• Credit Card Cash Advance
• PIN Change
• Language Selection (English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin)
• Funds Transfer*
• Cheque Book Request
• Statement Request
• New Share (IPO) Application (#)
• Multiple Account Access on the same ATM Card (up to 3 accounts can be linked under 1 ATM Card)
•Account Activity Enquiry

* You can transfer up to RM5000 per day to any HSBC banking account. However, for Credit Cards with secondary account(s) encoded into the same card, the limit for transfers between accounts [credit card account and secondary account(s)] on the same card is RM20,000.

Express Cash Deposit Machine (ECDM)

You can now deposit your cash anytime and at your convenience via our on-line ECDM. The deposit is instantly credited into your banking account. Besides cash deposits, you can also perform the following transaction:

• Payment to any HSBC Credit Card account

Note:
a) Payment to credit card is on-line and credit limit is updated.
b) Only RM10, RM20, RM50 and RM100 notes can be accepted.
c) Maximum number of notes per transaction is 30 or 100 pieces depending on the machine.
d) Maximum amount per day per account is RM 30,000 (for an external account, the limit is RM10,000).

Cheque Scanning Machine (ChequeScan)

Unlike the ordinary cheque deposit machine which uses envelopes, our ChequeScan is designed to provide the scanning/imaging capability where the image of deposited cheque(s) will be printed on the customer receipt. It is a hassle-free cheque depositing service with no PIN, pay-in-slip or envelope required.

You may use the ChequeScan to:

• Deposit cheque(s) into any HSBC banking account
• Deposit cheque(s) for payment to any HSBC Credit Card account
• Deposit cheque(s) for payment to any HSBC Home Loan account
• Deposit cheque(s) for payment to selected Bill Payment Merchants

Note: Maximum number of cheques per transaction is 30.(Please note that all the transactions above are subject to the normal terms and conditions relating to the clearing of cheques)
