Structured Investments

Structured InvestmentsStructured Investment is essentially an investments linked to a derivative and is designed for sophisticated investors.

Benefits

  • Potentially higher returns than traditional deposit accounts
  • Portfolio diversification
  • Exposure into a particular financial market by taking a view on market movements

What types of structured investments are there for me to choose from?

Type 1: Interest Rate Linked Structured Investments

Designed to potentially provide you with higher rates than the deposit/market rates, depending on a particular interest rate indicator’s movement. Examples of interest rate indicators are the 3-month KLIBOR rate, 6-mth KLIBOR rate, and the list goes on.

For each structure, the interest payment, interest rate indicator, investment tenure and other terms & conditions are predetermined and clearly specified to you from the onset. This is to ensure you won’t be unpleasantly surprised along the way.

Type 2: Foreign Currency Linked Structured Investments

Providing you with potentially higher returns compared to the corresponding currency deposit rate, depending on the currency’s market movement. As there are numerous major currencies traded daily, there are numerous FOREX structures that can be developed to suit your investment objectives!

For your comfort level, from the start of each investment, the interest rate paid, required currency benchmark, investment tenure and other terms & conditions are made known to you.

Type 3: Equity Linked Structured Investments

A safer alternative to equity investments which offers you the opportunity to earn higher returns than a regular deposit account.

According to your investment needs, you can choose from structures with returns dependent upon movements of a predetermined index, group of indices or basket of stocks.
