Apple Pay is a safe, contactless, easy way to pay. Enjoy all the benefits of your HSBC credit cards with Apple Pay on your Apple devices. With Apple Pay, your purchases remain private, and every transaction is secure. All transactions require FaceID, TouchID or your passcode on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac and a double click on your Apple Watch. Your card number is also never stored on your device or Apple servers.

Adding your credit card to Apple Pay is simple. Here's how to get started on your iPhone.
Step 1: Open the 'Wallet' app and tap the + in the upper right corner to get started.
Step 2: Scan card by positioning your HSBC credit card in the frame, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 3: Make HSBC credit card the default card and you are ready to use Apple Pay.
On Apple Watch:
Open Apple 'Wallet' app on your Apple Watch, tap 'Add Card' to get started.
On iPad or Mac:
On your iPad or Mac, look for 'Wallet & Apple Pay' in your System Preferences to get started.
Pay with just a tap
On iPhone with Face ID:
Step 1:
Double click the side button.
Step 2:
Glance at your screen.
Step 3:
Hold your iPhone near the card reader.
Step 4:
Wait for the 'Done' checkmark and you're done!
On iPhone via Touch ID:
Step 1:
Rest your finger on the 'Touch ID'.
Step 2:
Hold your iPhone near the card reader.
Step 3:
Wait for the 'Done' checkmark and you're done!
With Apple Watch:
Just double click the side button, then hold your device near the reader to finish your purchase.
With iPad or MacBook Pro with Touch ID:
When purchasing online or in-app, tap the Apple Pay button, confirm your billing and shipping information, then authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode.

Security Tips and Things you should know
- Keep your device under your personal control at all times. Depending on the device, you may be able to turn off the Near Field Communication (NFC) function when you are not using your device. If you lose your device, please call the bank using the telephone number(s) provided on the back of your HSBC/HSBC Amanah credit card/-i as soon as possible to disable the token from your device.
- Do not allow others to unlock your device and do not store anyone else's fingerprint or biometric credentials in your device.
- Do not choose obvious numbers as device Passcode and remember to change it regularly.
- Remove the registered credit card/-i on Apple Pay before sending your device for maintenance, repair or selling it.
- Do not install or launch Apple Pay in a smartphone or device with any pirated, hacked, fake or unauthorised application(s) or where the software lockdown has been overridden (such as "jailbroken" or "rooted" smartphone or device).
- Please ensure that your HSBC/HSBC Amanah credit card /-i is activated before adding your card to Apple Pay.
- You may remove your card anytime by tapping the card you want to remove and selecting "More" for your iPhone, or scrolling down and selecting "Remove" for Apple Watch.
