Bank securely with Mobile Secure Key
We're committed to protecting the security of our online banking customers. The Mobile Secure Key (MSK) is a safe and convenient way to generate security codes on the HSBC Malaysia app, so you can log on and approve transactions without needing your physical security device.
There's also a 12-hour cooling-off period for MSK set-up. If you get an SMS from us saying your MSK has been set up, but you didn't authorise this, you can report this to us during this time period.
In line with regulatory fraud counter-measures, you'll need additional authentication for all transactions or transfers made via HSBC Malaysia Online Banking.
For transactions made via HSBC Malaysia Online Banking, you'll need to generate a re-authentication code using your Mobile Secure Key.
For transactions made via the HSBC Malaysia app, you can use your biometric, or 6-digit PIN authentication.
