Share the love this Ramadan

It's the time of year to give, to share, to celebrate together. We're here to make it easy for you, with safe, secure digital solutions to help you share the joy.

A chance to refresh

This year's Ramadan is going to be pretty different from any you've ever known. With #socialdistancing being the new normal, most preparations have to be done online, but that shouldn't stop you from wanting to spruce things up in your life. Whether it's updating your wardrobe or fixing things up around the home, you can do a lot of your shopping without leaving the comfort and safety of your home.

Next time you're doing that online shopping, we can make check out a breeze. Most of the online stores like Shopee, Zalora and more now supports FPX online payment. Not to mention, you can also top up your Grab, Touch n Go and other e-wallets using HSBC FPX. Here's how you can pay with HSBC FPX :

  1. Shop for your favourite goods online and click the FPX logo at checkout.
  2. Select HSBC Bank and you'll be directed to the HSBC online banking log on page. Enter your log on  credentials.
  3. Select the account, preview the transaction and confirm payment.

Don't worry, it's safe: your bank details remain securely with us, and don't get shared with the online merchant.

Some shops also let you use DuitNow QR to pay for your purchase. Whether you use DuitNow or FPX, your payment will be instant, free, and you can do it any time of the day or night.

Spread the love

Ramadan is also a time to show your generosity. Whether you're giving to a charity or a loved one, it's a blessing to share your wealth. And while you might not be able to meet face to face to present them with your gift, we'll get your donation to the right people.

DuitNow allows you to make free, instant transfers click to check more details on DuitNow page to charities, friends and families. You don't even need to know their mailing address or bank account information. All you need is their DuitNow ID (Mobile Number or NRIC) and in just a few clicks, the money will be on its way to them. Soon it will be even easier, as DuitNow QR will allow you to scan your friend's QR code to send money. Find out how you can DuitNow here.

And if you want to stick with tradition, DuitNow's got you covered with e-DuitRaya, which will let you package your gift as a digital green packet. This would be made available end of May. Just click the 'share icon' on the top right hand corner of confirmation page to share your receipt.*
