HSBC Additional Deferment Programme 2/Payment Reduction Programme 2
HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad and HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad will be expanding our targeted assistance support to our customers who are in the B40/M40 categories and registered with Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH)/Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR)/Bantuan Prihatin Nasional (BPN), and microenterprise businesses (with facilities up to RM150,000).
The assistance will be available to eligible customers from 23 November 2020 until 30 June 2021.

We empathise with individuals and businesses who are going through economic hardship due to the Covid-19 pandemic. HSBC has supported our customers through many ups and downs, and our commitment remains unchanged.
While the 6-month automatic deferment period has ended on 30 September 2020, in line with YAB Prime Minister's announcement on 29 July 2020, HSBC will be providing targeted assistance to those who need additional support after the 6-month automatic deferment and provide relief options to customers who are most affected.
Retail/Individual customers who have lost their jobs in 2020
Retail/Individual customers who is experiencing a reduction in salary in 2020
For HSBC Fusion (Retail Business Banking) customers
Assistance is also available for affected customers who do not fall into the above categories, on a case by case basis.

HSBC 6-month Automatic Deferment Programme
The 6-month automatic deferment period has ended on 30 September 2020. If you are comfortable that your monthly payments are starting again, we have alternative payment options post the deferment period to help you save more on the total accrued interest/profit/lease rental payable.
Retail/Individual customers who have new loans/financing approved and/or disbursed after 1 April 2020 may also apply for up to 6 months deferment if needed.
