From 28 May 2025, the minimum mobile operating system for using the HSBC Malaysia Mobile Banking app will be iOS 15 or Android 12.

From 30 June 2025, the minimum supported web browser version for HSBC Malaysia Online Banking will be updated.

 

 

 

 

From November 2024 onwards, transaction authentication is required for any payment or transfer exceeding RM10,000 between your own HSBC accounts, as well as for any amount sent to saved payees.

A 12-hour cooling-off period for any increase of transaction limit via HSBC Online Banking will take effect from 17 November 2024 onwards.
